
How to distress new wood, step by step tutorial, for decorative purposes.
Step 1
Find a distressing agent like chicken wire, nails, a chain, rough cement .

Step 2
Have fun making dents in the wood.
Bing... bang... boom...

Step 3
Use your preferred medium to paint the wood depending on its use. If functional like a bench or shelf use wood stain and stain sealer. If decorative it's possible to use acrylic or soft pastels.
